Bob Vandersluis began his automotive career in 1973, selling vehicles and serving many customers in Orangeville and the surrounding areas.  After more than a decade of success in the automotive industry, it was time to grow to the next level and build something of their own.  In 1984, Bob and Barb Vandersluis opened their car dealership, and Orangeville Motors was born.  Bob and Barb's son Archie joined the dealership in 2000, truly making it a family business.

With much hard work and commitment to integrity, Orangeville motors has enjoyed a good reputation in the community over the last 28 years in business.  Orangeville Motors was voted best Used Car dealership in the Orangeville area continuously for many years by the Orangeville Banner readership.

After 38 years of selling cars in the Orangeville area, the time had come for Bob and Barb Vandersluis to slow down, enjoy their success and spend more time with their grandchildren.  This led to an exciting opportunity to sell their business to another good family with the same high standards, and years of proven success in the car business.

Scott Davidson and family purchased Orangeville Motors in April 2011.  The Davidson family owns Stop 23 Auto Sales  in Listowel, Ontario.  Development and planning is in progress to expand the capacity of Orangeville Motors, and should be completed by Spring 2012.
